Plans and billing
Free, Basic and Premium; trials, changing plans and invoices.
Pixigns has three plans: Free, Basic and Premium. Paid plans are charged per screen, with both its TVs. Players are bought once, separately. Your plan is the business's, and only owners can see or change it, in Settings, Billing.
Prices
| Plan | Billed monthly | Billed yearly |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0, for one screen with one TV | |
| Basic | $10 a screen a month | $8 a screen a month, billed $96 a year |
| Premium | $15 a screen a month | $12 a screen a month, billed $144 a year |
Yearly billing saves 20%. Every screen you have is charged, with both its TVs, and the charge follows when you add or remove a screen.

Free trial
Your business's first plan is free for 7 days, and no card is needed to start. While you're trying it, Billing shows the plan and Trial ends with the date.
- To keep the plan after the trial, add a card in Manage billing before it ends.
- Without a card, the business goes back to Free when the trial ends. What's on your screens keeps playing; see Changing to a smaller plan.
- Or skip the trial: Buy Basic now or Buy Premium now starts paying from today.
Choose a plan
- Go to Settings, Billing.
- Choose Monthly or Yearly, save 20%.
- Press Try Basic free or Try Premium free (or Choose Basic or Choose Premium once you've had a trial).
- You go to Stripe's secure checkout page. Have a promotion code? Enter it there.
When you come back, Billing says Thanks. Your plan shows here as soon as Stripe confirms the payment, usually within a minute. Reload to check. Your new features work as soon as the plan shows.
Choosing Basic or Premium also turns on Design for your business, and it stays on.
Change plan, card or invoices
Once you're paying, press Manage billing in Billing. It opens Stripe's secure page, where you can:
- Switch between Basic and Premium, and between monthly and yearly.
- Change your card.
- See your invoices.
- Cancel.
Billing shows the date your plan Renews. If you cancel, it shows when it Ends instead; the plan lasts until then, and the business is on Free after that.
If a payment doesn't go through, Billing says The last payment didn't go through. Stripe will try again; update the card in Manage billing. Your plan keeps working while Stripe tries again.
Changing to a smaller plan
Nothing on your screens goes dark over billing. When you move to a smaller plan, or a trial or plan ends, everything you've already set up keeps working exactly as it is. What changes is what you can add or change from then on:
- You can't add or change things the new plan doesn't include, like a new schedule, a new menu or a second TV.
- Publishing a playlist that uses something the plan doesn't include, like a menu slide or a zone, is refused, with the plan that has it. The version already on the screens keeps playing.
- On Free, publishing needs the business to be down to one screen with one TV.
The Free plan
Free covers one screen with one TV, with your own pictures, videos, PDFs and music, playlists and publishing. Adding a second screen says The Free plan covers one screen. An owner can choose a plan in Settings, under Billing, or remove a screen. A screen added on Free starts with one TV the right way up.
Buying players
Players are separate from your plan: $300 each, shipping included, paid once. Sales tax for your address is added at checkout. Each player runs one TV, or two side by side.
- Order a player. We ship within the US and email you a tracking number when it ships.
- When it arrives, set it up and add it as a screen. See Set up your player and Add a screen.
- Your plan's charge goes up by one screen when you add it.
Questions about billing
- “Only owners can see billing.” Ask an owner of the business, or ask them to make you an owner in People.
- Deleting your business ends its subscription first. If you only want to stop paying, cancel in Manage billing instead. See Business settings.
- Anything else, email support@pixigns.com.
Still stuck? Email support@pixigns.com with your business's address and the screen's name, and we'll help.
